Privacy NoticeWe are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not share your information with others without your consent. The data controller is Mr. G. Jones who can be contacted at the Church address, telephoning him on the church telephone number (01268 553423) or by using his church e-mail contact on our homepage. We have a record of contact details which have been given to us by Church members or attenders with consent to use those details to communicate with them in relation to church matters. The record is hand-written in a spiral bound register kept in a secure place by Mr Jones. Records will be deleted if the member resigns and leaves the church or if the attender has not been in attendance for more than six months. From time to time we find it necessary to contact members or attenders for pastoral purposes or to advise of any special church activities about to happen. In addition to that, if people contact us, then we will reply in the same way we have been contacted. When that correspondence has been completed, then all details of the contact will be deleted. We will respect your email privacy. You will only receive email from The Church at Gun Hill (Elim Pentecostal Church) if you first e-mail us OR if you have asked to be added to our e-mail list as a church member or church attender. We will not share your email address or any of your other contact details with any third party without your consent. Your consent will be implicit in forms completed and submitted in the matters of Safeguarding, holding a church office and being a signatory to the church bank account as detailed below. We do not store these contact details on computer, nor on our or any other website. We do not have any pages on any social media website. Anyone whose details we do hold can at any time ask for any or all of those details to be deleted by writing to Mr G. Jones at the Church address, telephoning him on the church telephone number (01268 553423) or by using his church e-mail contact on our homepage. SafeguardingCertain members of the church may be involved in working with children or vulnerable adults which require safeguarding checks to be made - so-called DBS checks. To do this the appropriate DBS check forms have to be completed and we use CCPAS Disclosure Service, PO Box 133, SWANLEY, Kent, BR8 7UQ to process them. Such members will, therefore, be required to complete CCPAS forms.
